Red Radishes
Crunchy with a mild peppery zing that intensifies as the weather heats up. These roots are excellent as a stand-alone snack, in salads and slaws, pickled, or roasted.
Flavor & Preparation
Red radishes are a crunchy root vegetable that can pack a peppery kick. The strength of the zing varies with temperature — look for a milder flavor in Spring and a more forward spice during the heat of Summer.
Radishes are most often eaten raw, but can also be roasted to bring out a sweeter aspect of their flavor profile. When eating raw, try them on their own or with a dip as a satisfying snack.
